Great opportunity for a part-time minibus driving position in Sprint Transfers Ltd. Sprint Transfers Limited is a dedicated service provider, offering specialised transportation for disabled children to and from school. Our mission is to ensure every child has safe, reliable, and timely transport, fostering their education and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Transport children with various special educational needs to and from school during the term time period.
- Act as a representative of Sprint Transfers, upholding our values and professional working relationship with local County Councils.
- Drive Sprint owned or operated vehicles with up to 16 passenger seats, providing safe, comfortable and efficient transportation.
- Perform daily routine operational vehicle inspection and maintenance including tyres (condition and pressures), oil, water, fuel, other fluids, brakes, lights, windscreen and wipers.
- Perform simple routine maintenance and repairs, sweep and clean vehicle, keep vehicle interior neat and orderly.
- Accurately complete driver trip sheets for each shift with information including odometer readings, number of passengers, vehicle registration, details of any faults/damage, etc.
The hours of this position may vary between Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 9:00 am, and then from 14:00 pm to 16:00 pm, being fully available for the school run times of day. Sprint Transfers will pay for all employees DBS Checking, Private Hire Badges, Training and relevant certification after 6 months of continuous employment.
Requirements:
- Full UK Manual/Auto Driving Licence or D1 entitlement allowing driving up to 16-seater Minibus with Passengers.
- Hold the licence for at least 3 years.
- No more than 3 points on the licence.
- Minimum age 25.
- Must have right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced clear DBS.
- Two satisfactory Employment references.
- Any other required vetting in order to work with Children.
Benefits:
