My Client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Yard Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of their yard. This role requires effective leadership skills to manage a team and ensure safety compliance.
In this role you will be working as part of a team carrying out general yard duties.
Job role and requirements:
- Getting plant ready for loading with correct accessories and recording information.
- Must hold a valid UK Driving License.
- Willingness to help other departments out when needed.
- Happy to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
- Able to follow instructions and work to tight deadlines.
- Refueling of plant after its returned from hire.
- Assisting with loading and unloading equipment from trucks and vans.
- Organize and maintain the yard area, ensuring it is a tidy and safe working environment.
- Operate forklifts and other machinery to move as needed - preferable.
- Assist customers with collecting equipment.
- Assisting with deliveries of parts.
- Perform general maintenance tasks, such as cleaning tools and equipment.
- Occasional delivery / collection of parts.
