PLANT MECHANIC Location of the Plant Mechanic / Plant Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Mobile Plant Mechanic / Plant Fitter / Plant Engineer / HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / Diesel Mechanic / Auto Electrician / Mechanical Engineer: Cwbran South Wales Salary for the Plant Mechanic / Plant Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Mobile Plant Mechanic / Plant Fitter / Plant Engineer / HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / Diesel Mechanic / Auto Electrician / Mechanical Engineer: £17.00ph – £19.00ph (Negotiable) plus overtime Hours of work for the Plant Mechanic / Plant Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Mobile Plant Mechanic / Plant Fitter / Plant Engineer / HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / Diesel Mechanic / Auto Electrician / Mechanical Engineer: Monday to Friday 08:00am – 17:00pm – overtime is available My client, a busy Plant Company, are looking for a Plant Mechanic / Plant Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Mobile Plant Mechanic / Plant Fitter / Plant Engineer / HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / Diesel Mechanic / Auto Electrician / Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Cwmbran. You will be carrying out service and maintenance on their customers fleets of Road Rail and HGV based Equipment. This is great role for someone with a mechanical, Auto Electrical or HGV background. Duties for the Plant Mechanic / Plant Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Mobile Plant Mechanic / Plant Fitter / Plant Engineer / HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / Diesel Mechanic / Auto Electrician / Mechanical Engineer: * Preventative Maintenance and scheduling servicing in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations. * Complete Pre Work Inspections. * Troubleshooting any defects on the machines. * Carry out all necessary repairs. * Carry out installation, repairs and modifications of Safety related systems utilised throughout the Rail industry. Requirements for the Plant Mechanic / Plant Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Mobile Plant Mechanic / Plant Fitter / Plant Engineer / HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / Diesel Mechanic / Auto Electrician / Mechanical Engineer: * Ideally you will be apprentice trained in construction/agricultural plant maintenance , be a time served mechanical fitter or have a good knowledge and understanding of auto-electrics, engines, transmissions and hydraulics. * Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative. * A good understanding of I.T. * Applicants must have excellent organisation and communication skills with a good understanding of health and safety legislation. * The ability to work flexible hours.
