You will be carrying out service and maintenance on their customers fleets of Road Rail and HGV based Equipment. This is great role for someone with a mechanical, Auto Electrical or HGV background. Duties for the Plant Mechanic / Plant Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Mobile Plant Mechanic / Plant Fitter / Plant Engineer / HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / Diesel Mechanic / Auto Electrician / Mechanical Engineer: * Preventative Maintenance and scheduling servicing in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations. * Complete Pre Work Inspections. * Troubleshooting any defects on the machines. * Carry out all necessary repairs. * Carry out installation, repairs and modifications of Safety related systems utilised throughout the Rail industry. Requirements for the Plant Mechanic / Plant Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Mobile Plant Mechanic / Plant Fitter / Plant Engineer / HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / Diesel Mechanic / Auto Electrician / Mechanical Engineer: * Ideally you will be apprentice trained in construction/agricultural plant maintenance , be a time served mechanical fitter or have a good knowledge and understanding of auto-electrics, engines, transmissions and hydraulics. * Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative. * A good understanding of I.T. * Applicants must have excellent organisation and communication skills with a good understanding of health and safety legislation. * The ability to work flexible hours.
