My client, a busy Plant Company, are looking for a Plant Fitter to join their team in Newcastle. You will be carrying out service and maintenance on their fleet of Plant Equipment. This is a great role for someone with a mechanical, Auto Electrical or HGV background.
- Preventative Maintenance and scheduling servicing in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations.
- Complete Pre Work Inspections.
- Troubleshooting any defects on the machines.
- Carry out all necessary repairs.
- Carry out installation, repairs and modifications of Safety related systems.
- Ideally you will be apprentice trained in construction/agricultural plant maintenance, be a time served mechanical fitter or have a good knowledge and understanding of auto-electrics, engines, transmissions and hydraulics.
- Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative.
- A good understanding of I.T.
- Applicants must have excellent organisation and communication skills with a good understanding of health and safety legislation.
- The ability to work flexible hours.
