An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HGV Class 1 Driver / HGV Transporter Driver to join my client's team in Bridgend. The successful candidate must be reliable, enthusiastic and comfortable working in a busy fast-moving environment.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Dealing with driver queries.
- Coordinating drivers, vehicles and movements on site.
- Experience with Driving Transporters.
- HGV Class 1 Licence.
- Liaising with Workshop for vehicle services.
- Liaising with vehicle swaps regarding traffic flow and movements at peak times.
- Ensuring site speed restrictions and rules are enforced.
- Quality checking driver vehicles / standards.
- Ensuring site traffic flows and pinch points on site are kept clear and remain functional.
- Loading and unloading of vehicle transporters and recovery trucks.
- Excellent communication skills / Good interpersonal skills.
- Good team working skills.
- Good general knowledge of vehicles.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach on site.
- Driving license.
