We have an exciting role for a Technician to join a large national group as an HGV / PSV Technician in Rotherham. You can come from any industry that involves vehicle or machinery repair; if you have mechanical, electrical or hydraulic experience then get in touch!

Salary: £40,000 - £46,000 pa plus overtime
Hours of work: Full time - 37 to 40 hours per week, working 5 days over 7 on rotating shifts.
My client is looking for a Technician / Mechanic to join one of their sites based in Rotherham. The ideal Mechanic will have some form of vehicle engineering background, this could be in bus, truck, rail, farm or automotive.
As the HGV Technician / PSV Technician / PCV Technician / Mechanic / Technician / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Bus Mechanic / Truck Mechanic / Plant Technician / Mechanical Engineer / Fleet Technician you will:
- Get stuck in maintaining and repairing the varied fleet of modern vehicles, with more modernisation on the way in the form of electric vehicles.
- Enjoy the variety of a role that isn't confined to the same depot walls. You'll be finding solutions to issues out on the road as well as performing routine maintenance at the depot.
- Be at the forefront of advancing technology as they are investing heavily in electric vehicles and depot infrastructure.

- Have some form of vehicle engineering background, this could be in bus, truck, rail, farm or automotive - if it moves, it's good experience.
- Be passionate about what you do and want to deliver high standards of engineering maintenance and repairs.
- Preferably have an appropriate level 3 engineering NVQ; this isn't essential though they can provide training where necessary if you're right for the role.
