We are seeking a caring and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Telford. This is a full‑time role starting in May 2026 and continuing until July 2026, with the potential to become a permanent position for the successful candidate. Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is previous experience working in a school setting.

The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them engage with learning and develop positive behaviours within a supportive educational setting.
- Provide one‑to‑one and small group support for pupils with special educational and behavioural needs
- Support teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
- Build positive relationships with pupils to encourage engagement, confidence and emotional regulation
- Adapt classroom activities and learning materials to meet the needs of individual pupils
