There's a particular kind of satisfaction that comes from being the person a pupil actually looks forward to seeing. Not because you're entertaining or loud, but because you're consistent. You show up. You understand them. And slowly, things start to click.

We're Sprint Education, and we're recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants for full-time, long-term placements in Leamington Spa, Warwick, and the surrounding areas. New roles come in every week. Some have immediate starts once the right person is found, and others begin in September. These are genuine, ongoing positions - the kind where you build real knowledge of a pupil, understand what works for them, and become a steady presence in their school day.

We're particularly keen to hear from candidates with a Psychology degree or a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, and at least 6 months' experience working in a classroom.

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH, or speech, language and communication needs
  • Working alongside class teachers and SENCOs to put personalised strategies into practice
  • Supporting pupils to access the curriculum, regulate their emotions, and build confidence over time
  • Helping to maintain a structured, calm environment where pupils feel safe to learn
  • Building positive, trusting relationships that make a real difference to how a pupil experiences school

What we're looking for:

  • A Psychology degree (BSc) or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification - or equivalent relevant experience
  • At least 6 months' experience in a classroom, ideally working with pupils who have additional needs
  • Practical knowledge of autism, ADHD, SEMH, or speech, language and communication difficulties
  • A grounded, patient presence - someone who doesn't unsettle easily and doesn't take a difficult morning personally
  • Clear, confident communication with pupils, teachers, and wider school staff
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one

What's on offer:

  • Full-time, long-term placements in Leamington Spa, Warwick, and nearby areas
  • Immediate starts available for the right candidate, with further roles from September
  • Consistent schools where staff are valued and your contribution is visible
  • The chance to apply your academic background where it counts
  • A placement that builds rather than resets - the same faces, the same routines, the same small wins

Why Sprint?

If you're looking to work as a teacher in a mainstream classroom, providing day-to-day supply cover, we're probably not the agency for you. But if you're passionate about supporting students with additional needs and want a long-term role where you can build consistency and see the impact of your work every day, that's exactly what we do.
