A welcoming and friendly mainstream primary school in Featherstone, Wolverhampton is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join their team from 13th April 2026 through to July 2026, covering a maternity leave. The Role
- Full class teacher responsibilities including planning, preparation, assessment and reporting
- Delivering engaging, creative and developmentally appropriate lessons in line with the EYFS framework
- Creating a stimulating and nurturing Early Years learning environment
- Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
- Working closely with teaching assistants, parents and senior leaders
- Tracking progress and ensuring all children are supported to reach their full potential
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within Early Years / Reception
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
- A nurturing, patient and enthusiastic approach
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
