We’re working with inclusive schools across Coventry and Warwickshire who are looking for Graduate SEN Teaching Assistants and Learning Support staff to join them in long-term roles. Key Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils with SEND on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Helping pupils follow routines and stay engaged in learning
- Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
- Working closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement support plans
- Creating a calm, predictable classroom environment
- Encouraging independence and confidence in pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication needs
About You
- You’re a psychology, education or social science graduate, or an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant
- You’ve got recent classroom based experience supporting children or young people with SEND
- You’re patient, reflective and emotionally aware
- You’re comfortable collaborating with teachers and wider school staff
- You’re interested in building a long-term career in education, psychology or therapy
