A welcoming mainstream primary school is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join their team from Easter, covering a maternity leave. This role involves leading a small, well-supported SEN provision within the school, working with a delightful class of 7 pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Speech and Language needs, and Autism.

Overview

  • Small SEN room with 7 pupils
  • Pupils with MLD, Speech and Language needs, and Autism
  • Supported by 2 dedicated Teaching Assistants and 1 floating TAA

The Role

  • Full class teacher responsibilities, including planning, teaching, assessment, and reporting
  • Delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs

  • Monitoring progress and implementing EHCP targets effectively

  • A qualified teacher (QTS) with experience or a strong interest in SEN
