What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • At least three years of experience teaching in Key Stage 1 or 2
  • A strong track record supporting vulnerable learners and pupils with additional needs
  • A deep understanding of the 2014 SEND Code of Practice, EHCPs, and inclusive classroom practice
  • Experience planning tailored lessons that meet a range of individual needs and learning styles
  • Confidence managing and developing support staff and working collaboratively with external agencies

Great, but Not Essential:

  • A postgraduate qualification in SEND
  • Experience working within a specialist provision or similar setting
  • Familiarity with assessment systems for children working below expected levels
  • The ability to lead and inspire others through coaching, modelling, or delivering CPD
