What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- At least three years of experience teaching in Key Stage 1 or 2
- A strong track record supporting vulnerable learners and pupils with additional needs
- A deep understanding of the 2014 SEND Code of Practice, EHCPs, and inclusive classroom practice
- Experience planning tailored lessons that meet a range of individual needs and learning styles
- Confidence managing and developing support staff and working collaboratively with external agencies
Great, but Not Essential:
- A postgraduate qualification in SEND
- Experience working within a specialist provision or similar setting
- Familiarity with assessment systems for children working below expected levels
- The ability to lead and inspire others through coaching, modelling, or delivering CPD
