We are seeking to appoint a Level 4 Teaching Assistant at two of our EYFS/KS1 Springwood School sites, our Belvedere site and our Little Hulton site. This position will complement the professional work of teachers by giving the successful applicant the opportunity and responsibility to plan, prepare and deliver learning to individuals and/or groups of pupils and to monitor, assess and record their achievements, progress and development. Springwood is a large primary age Special School (385 pupils aged 5‑11) based over a number of sites, which caters for pupils with moderate, severe and complex needs. Springwood is part of The LINK Education Trust. At Springwood Primary School we are constantly striving to create the best learning opportunities for every pupil.   • Will you ensure that all our pupils are included and supported to develop whatever their special educational needs or behaviour challenges?
  • Can you work as part of a team to provide an appropriate learning environment for our pupils?
  • Do you want to learn new skills and participate in your own professional development?
  • Previous experience of working with young people of school age who may present with challenging behaviour and complex needs, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Are you ready to develop your skills and expertise to lead groups of pupils?
  • Do you have the drive to develop your skills and expertise in a nominated area of specialist communication?
