Permanent contract, 37 hours weekly (35 regular + 5 OTE). FTE salary £26,403 – £28,142 (Actual £22,681 – £24,175).
Responsibilities
- Support and lead small groups and individuals in Maths, English, reading, SEAL and practical activities.
- Develop resilience, social skills and self‑esteem in pupils.
- Implement effective strategies for pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and ODD behavioural conditions.
- Assist the teacher with the production of classroom and specialist resources.
- Maintain a good working knowledge of ICT for resource creation and classroom support.
Qualifications
- Experience working in an SEMH setting is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to trauma‑informed and restorative practice.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, DBS and regulatory checks for working with children.
