About this Role

As a Business Support Officer, you will be a part of an amazing team. You need to be a good communicator, have administration experience, strong IT skills and the ability to be flexible and proactive across our large special school. This role covers a diverse range of tasks and will suit someone who enjoys variety in a busy demanding environment.

Your role will include:

  • Working as an integral part of the Business Support Team.
  • Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school(s).
  • Process and update data on the schools systems.
  • Produce documents and reports to a high standard.
  • Liaise with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Being present in reception as first point of contact.

The Candidate

  • Proven experience in a similar role - receptionist, administrator or business support.
  • Experience or interest in working with children/young people with additional needs.
  • Ability to relate to children and younger people to build positive relationships.
  • Educated with GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.

Salary/Hours

Starting salary for this Business Support Worker role is £9,289 actual annual salary (£26,403 FTE) working 15 hours per week Thursday and Friday term time only + 2 inset days + amazing benefits working for our Wellspring trust.
