Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Health and Social Care Tutor at our Belfast location. The Health and Social Care Tutor will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective training sessions to support learners in developing their skills and knowledge. The role involves preparing lesson plans, assessing learners' progress, providing one-on-one support, and ensuring all educational activities align with accreditation standards. Additionally, the Tutor will assist students in developing their understanding of occupational health, medicine, and health promotion, while maintaining a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with learners and colleagues
- Proficiency in concepts related to Occupational Health and Medicine to deliver subject-specific expertise
- Knowledge of Health Promotion practices and the ability to educate learners in these areas
- Experience in delivering and assessing training in health and social care or related subjects
- A recognized teaching qualification such as a PGCE, PTTLS, or equivalent
- Ability to motivate and support learners to achieve their full potential
- Experience in working within the health or social care sector is highly desirable
