Do you thrive on the complexity that comes with advising ultra-high-net-worth individuals with cross-border US/UK tax affairs? If so, this could be the role you’ve been waiting for. We’re looking for a Senior Manager to join our growing Private Client practice, with a focus on US-connected HNWIs — including US citizens resident in the UK, dual nationals, and internationally mobile executives and entrepreneurs with US tax obligations.
What you’ll be doing
- You’ll lead the delivery of sophisticated tax advice across a portfolio of HNWI clients, covering US federal and state compliance, UK/US treaty planning, FATCA, FBAR, and the full range of cross-border issues these clients face.
- Alongside this, you’ll advise on UK and offshore trust structures — working with family trusts, discretionary trusts, and offshore settlements — as well as inheritance tax, capital gains, and residence and domicile matters.
- You’ll work closely with Partners, take meaningful ownership of client relationships, and play an active role in developing and mentoring junior team members.
- Business development will also be part of the mix — we want someone who enjoys building relationships and spotting opportunities.
What we’re looking for
- CTA and/or Enrolled Agent (EA) qualified, ideally with an ACA or equivalent
- Proven experience advising US-connected HNWIs in a UK practice environment
- Strong working knowledge of trust taxation, both UK and offshore
- Commercially minded, technically excellent, and a natural communicator
- A genuine interest in developing the next generation of talent
What’s on offer
A clear and supported path to Director, hybrid working, and the opportunity to work on some of the most complex and rewarding private client mandates in the market — all within a collaborative, partner-led culture.
