Build your career at the heart of sophisticated private wealth tax advisory. We are a leading law firm with a highly regarded Private Wealth practice, and we are looking for a talented Tax Senior Associate to join a team advising some of the world’s most successful individuals, families, and family offices on their most complex tax and structuring challenges.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious associate to develop genuine technical depth and client-facing experience in private wealth tax. You will work across a broad and stimulating mix of matters — advising HNWIs, internationally mobile clients, and multigenerational family structures on UK and cross-border tax planning, trust and estate structuring, and wealth succession. You will be supported by, and work closely with, a team of Partners and Directors who are recognised leaders in their field — with real investment in your development and a clear path to progression.
Day-to-day, you will be:
- Advising HNWI and UHNWI clients on UK income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and domicile and residence planning
- Assisting with the establishment and ongoing tax advice relating to UK and offshore trust structures
- Supporting on cross-border estate and succession planning for internationally mobile and non-dom clients
- Advising family offices on structuring, governance, and tax efficiency
- Working alongside colleagues in Corporate Tax and Tax Disputes on matters with a private wealth dimension
- Drafting technical advice, client correspondence, and complex transactional documents
- Contributing to business development activity and client relationship building
What we are looking for:
- A qualified solicitor or CTA (or dual-qualified), with strong private wealth or private client tax experience gained in a law firm or leading advisory practice
- A solid grounding in UK trust law and tax, estate planning, and taxation
- An interest in, or exposure to, cross-border and international private wealth matters
- A sharp legal mind, excellent drafting skills, and the confidence to engage directly with sophisticated clients
- Ambition to grow — technically, commercially, and as a future leader in the field
What’s on offer:
You will join a firm where Private Wealth is a strategic priority — well-resourced, genuinely collegiate, and with a client base that will stretch and inspire you. We offer hybrid working, a competitive salary, and structured career progression with mentoring from some of the most respected names in private wealth tax. We welcome applications from candidates at the Senior Associate level, including those who may be looking to make a move from a Big 4 or specialist advisory background into a law firm environment.
