A leading City firm is seeking a Corporate Tax Associate with 2–6 years of experience to join its highly regarded tax practice. You will advise on the full spectrum of UK and international corporate tax matters, acting for FTSE-listed corporates, S&P100 clients, private equity sponsors, and institutional investors.

The role centres on high-value transactional tax work, including M&A, leveraged buyouts, and joint ventures, with exposure to cross-border structuring. You will collaborate closely with groups such as restructuring, advising on corporate reorganisations, debt restructurings, and tax-efficient group simplifications. You can also expect significant real estate tax work - REIT's, PropCo/OpCo arrangements, and the tax aspects of large-scale property transactions.

The international dimension is significant; complexities around withholding tax, transfer pricing considerations, and treaty analysis across multiple jurisdictions will be demanded. You should be confident in managing client relationships, producing high-quality tax advice under transaction timelines, and working alongside senior partners and specialist groups.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious tax lawyer to develop a broad, transaction-led practice at a firm with genuine depth across every area the role touches. Compensation range is 150-180k plus bonus.
