Job Description
The Springfield Group are looking to recruit experienced Forklift Drivers to join our site construction teams on new-build developments across Moray and Highlands.

About the Role
\n
\n
The successful candidates will play a key role in delivering high-quality homes in line with our construction programmes and NHBC standards. Key responsibilities will include:
\n
\n
· Safely operating a forklift to ensure efficient material movements.
\n
· Loading, unloading, moving and positioning construction materials, plant, equipment and other items around the site.
\n
· Assisting with deliveries, ensuring materials are safely unloaded and stored in the appropriate locations.
\n
· Carrying out daily forklift checks and reporting any defects or maintenance requirements.
\n
· General labouring and site support duties as required to assist with the smooth and safe operation of the site.
\n
· Following all site health and safety procedures and company policy.
\n
\n

About You
\n
\n
The ideal candidates will:
\n
\n
- \n
- Hold a valid NPORS or CPCS forklift certification. (Other accredited training schemes may be considered)
- Previous experience operating a forklift, preferably within a construction or similar environment.
- Be able to work independently and carry out tasks with little supervision.
- Confidence in moving difficult loads on the Forklift.
- Be able to demonstrate safe manual handling techniques and effective and safe practice when working with tools.
- Strong work ethic, communication skills and attention to detail.
- Committed to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment and compliance with company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Experience on construction sites would be advantageous.
