The Springfield Group are looking to recruit a motivated Accounts Assistant to support their busy Finance team. This full-time position is based in our Elgin office and the working hours are 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.

About the role

As a key member of the finance team, you will support business accounting and processing activities, including the handling of delivery tickets, invoices, and subcontractor valuations, as well as reconciling statements. Additionally, you will assist with various administrative tasks as needed and serve as a point of contact for queries from colleagues, external clients, and service providers.

About you

  • Educated to a minimum of SCQF Level 5 and have relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, meeting deadlines and managing conflicting priorities with flexibility.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in basic IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet usage.
  • Experience with Sub-Contractor/CIS processes would be advantageous.
