Cook, cleaner, carer and kitchen assistant
We are looking for a new member of staff with a versatile range of skills. On Tuesday mornings between 8AM and 10AM, you will be working as an assistant to the cook, helping serve meals to the home's residents. On Fridays and Saturdays, you will be working 3PM to 9PM as the early evening cook and cleaner, making light meals for the resident's tea, and then cleaning until 9PM.
We will sometimes request that you perform some care duties during the evening, so a background in care would be highly desirable. The total hours come to 14 hours a week. In the future, there is the potential for working more hours depending upon circumstances.

Springfield House Retirement Home is a family run business that we started in 1983. We treat all our residents with care and respect. We are not a nursing or dementia home, and our residents love to spend time chatting to our carers with a cup of tea and a biscuit.
