Complex Care Support Worker (MND) based in Barnard Castle We are looking for a dedicated Complex Support Worker to support a lady living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) who requires support with Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV). This is a rewarding opportunity to build a meaningful relationship with someone who values companionship, dignity and a positive outlook on life. We are seeking someone who is patient, reliable and committed to delivering exceptional person-centred care. About the Role You will provide one-to-one support within the client's home, ensuring her heath, comfort and wellbeing are maintained while helping her remain comfortable in her home environment. Key Responsibilities supporting with daily living activities
assisting with NIV and monitoring respiratory wellbeing
promoting comfort, safety and independence
supporting communication and social engagement
providing emotional reassurance and companionship
working closely with family members and healthcare professionals
monitoring and reporting any changes in health and wellbeing
delivering high quality person centred care at all times What we are looking for experience in complex care is desirable
experience supporting individuals with neurological conditions or respiratory support is needed
a caring, patient and compassionate nature
excellent communication skills
a calm and pro-active approach
reliability, professionalism and commitment to delivering outstanding care Clean driving licence is desirable but not essential TPBN1_UKTJ
