Responsibilities
  • You will be supporting individuals with a wide range of additional needs, learning disabilities, Autism and Mental Health to live happy, fulfilled lives as independently as possible.
  • Developing warm and trusting relationships with clients.
  • Encourage and support clients to engage in social activities with friends and family, help with attending appointments and accessing the local community, support clients to go on holiday, & days out, attend local activity groups, college and work placements.
  • Providing emotional support.
  • Some may want help with cooking, shopping and help in the home.

What we require (Essential)
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English is crucial.
  • Full valid UK Driving Licence and have own car for work.
  • A confident and sensitive approach to support with respect for the client's and the ability to promote independence.
  • You must be available evenings and weekends and for sleeping and waking nights.
  • Ability to empathise with the client and support appropriately.
  • It’s OK if you’ve never worked in support and care before, we have a great induction and onboarding process which provides all the training, support and mentorship that you’ll need.
