Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

The Role

As Home Manager, you will be the heart of the home. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest standards of care, and maintaining full compliance with regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain effective communication with all heads of departments, ensuring regular supervisions and improving staff morale through consultation and leadership.
  • Build strong relationships with residents’ families and local healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure the ongoing monitoring of care standards, maintaining a high quality of care to ensure we meet regulatory requirements and continue working toward the goal of "Outstanding."
  • Be involved in the setting of annual operating budgets, and the management of these, to attain agreed levels of turnover and profitability.
  • Manage and develop all aspects of the business, in a commercial, professional and caring manner.

Experience: Proven track record as a Care Home Manager or a Deputy Manager with at least one year of care home management experience.

Qualifications: Level 5 NVQ in Health and Social Care (Leadership & Management) completed, or currently working towards it.

Specialism: Experience in residential and dementia care.

Compliance: A deep understanding and working knowledge of CQC regulations and safeguarding protocols.
