The Springfield Group are recruiting for an IT Support Technician to join our team based in Elgin. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in supporting the group across multiple office and site locations.
Key Responsibilities
As a member of our Group IT team, you will:
- Be the first point of contact for IT support queries raised via the Help Desk.
- Diagnose and resolve a wide range of technical issues, including hardware, software, and networking problems.
- Manage and prioritise support tickets efficiently to ensure prompt resolution.
- Provide hands-on IT support at our various locations across Moray and the Highlands as and when required.
About You
- Confidence using Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365 and Active Directory Administration.
- A willingness to learn about systems like Active Directory, Exchange Online, anti-virus tools, and networks (LAN/WAN/Wireless/VPN).
- Previous Help Desk or IT support experience would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with both Apple and Android devices.
- Good communication skills and a helpful attitude.
- A calm, problem solving mindset.
- Able to prioritise and organise workload effectively to deal with conflicting priorities.
- Hold a full UK driving licence (desirable) as travel to various office and site locations is required.
