The Springfield Group are recruiting for an IT Support Technician to join our team based in Elgin. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in supporting the group across multiple office and site locations.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of our Group IT team, you will:

  • Be the first point of contact for IT support queries raised via the Help Desk.
  • Diagnose and resolve a wide range of technical issues, including hardware, software, and networking problems.
  • Manage and prioritise support tickets efficiently to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Provide hands-on IT support at our various locations across Moray and the Highlands as and when required.

About You

  • Confidence using Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365 and Active Directory Administration.
  • A willingness to learn about systems like Active Directory, Exchange Online, anti-virus tools, and networks (LAN/WAN/Wireless/VPN).
  • Previous Help Desk or IT support experience would be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with both Apple and Android devices.
  • Good communication skills and a helpful attitude.
  • A calm, problem solving mindset.
  • Able to prioritise and organise workload effectively to deal with conflicting priorities.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence (desirable) as travel to various office and site locations is required.
