Tulloch Homes (part of The Springfield Group) currently has a vacancy for a Forklift Driver to work as part of our construction team within Inverness and the Highland area.
Reporting to the Site Manager, it is the responsibility of the Forklift Driver to manage and control the transportation of materials around the site, in accordance with the construction programme. You will be expected to:
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as they arrive onto site.
- Assist to ensure that any waste materials are loaded into the correct site skips for waste control management.
- Advise the Site Manager of any defective/damaged materials when collecting or loading of materials.
- Ensure forklift machinery is inspected daily for maintenance purposes and weekly inspections are recorded.
- Ensure the forklift is clean and roadworthy at all times.
- Assist to carry out labouring duties as and when required.
The successful candidate will preferably:
- Be educated to SCQF Level 5 and hold a valid NPORS or CPCS forklift certification (Other accredited training schemes may be considered).
- Preferably have experience working on a new build housing site.
- Have the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team delivering projects to completion.
- Be committed to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment and compliance with company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Hold a valid full driving licence and own transport.
