Join our team as an MOT Tester/Mechanical Technician at our well-established independent garage in Burnham on Crouch, Essex. We are looking for an experienced individual to perform MOT tests on a Full-Time basis (Part-Time considered). This is an exciting opportunity to work in a RAC Approved family-run business with over 40 years of experience and outstanding working facilities.
MOT Duties:
- Conduct MOT tests efficiently and accurately
- Maintain honesty, trustworthiness, and excellent timekeeping in all aspects of the role
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a MOT Tester, Technician / Mechanic
- Diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing
- Repairing and replacing brakes, clutches and other vehicle components
- Liaise with Service and Office Managers on the day-to-day running of the workshop
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Must have own tools
Job Type: Full-time
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:30 to 17:30
- One Saturday per month: (Every 1st Saturday) 8:30 to 14:00
