About the Role
Join our Open Access (OA) Agreements team and help support the global transition to open access publishing. Working closely with institutional sales teams, the team develops, implements, and monitors transformative agreements, full OA agreements, and OA book partnerships in one of the fastest-growing areas of the business. This fixed-term position in the Open Access (OA) Agreements Team focuses on the operational management and reporting of institutional and society open access agreements. The role combines account administration, customer communication, data management, invoicing coordination, and reporting support. The successful candidate will be highly organized and detail-oriented to ensure OA agreements run smoothly by monitoring account balances, maintaining accurate records, coordinating with customers and internal teams, and supporting reporting activities across transformative and hybrid OA agreements.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and managing account balances for institutional and society full OA agreements
- Monitoring and managing monthly post-pay accounts for institutional and society agreements
- Liaising with customers and internal teams to coordinate timely invoices for institutional and society agreements
- Responding to customer queries
- Supporting with account closures, audits, and ad hoc tasks
- Supporting with data processing, analysis, and reporting across full OA, hybrid OA and transformative agreements as needed
Experience, Skills/Knowledge, Qualifications
Essential
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and email composition
- Proficiency in Excel (experience with pivot tables, vlookup and similar formula is an advantage)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in fast-paced environment
Desirable:
- Experience or interest in open access academic publishing
