About the Role
Macmillan Education are hiring for a Marketing Specialist for a 4 month fixed term opportunity. In this role you will be developing a comprehensive marketing plan for Macmillan Education products globally.
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop a time lined Go To Market plan for Max Computing that can be used in the Caribbean and globally including:
- Clarifying global team requirements
- Using all existing collateral and sharing any new collateral requirements
- Planning an approach to share with the global team
- Create a GTM template that can be used for all product launches
- Create a series maintenance template that can be used to protect series against new competition
- Support with budget management for Caribbean, IC and Discover China
- Support with strategy for Discover China
- Create marketing/promotional plan/strategy
- Develop Snappy Sounds marketing plan, for Caribbean and global markets
- Support with other marketing strategies as required by Manager
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
Essential
- Demonstrable marketing experience
- Strong experience managing budgets
- Ability to create and implement marketing strategies across regions
- Strong analytical and decision making abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to inspire, influence, and persuade
- Strong ability to self-organize, prioritise and multitask
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain global relationships and gain cooperation from other functional groups and stakeholders
Desirable
- Knowledge and experience of marketing within the educational publishing landscape
