About the Role
The Head of Marketing at International Health will lead the strategic development and execution of marketing initiatives across our international health pillars. This role is pivotal in driving the transition from traditional marketing approaches to digital-first strategies—including the integration of AI-powered tools—while ensuring strong user engagement, retention, and conversion aligned with International Health’s business growth objectives. They will lead a team of Marketing and Audience Engagement Managers, along with marketing analytics specialists, driving innovation, collaboration, and excellence in campaign strategy and execution. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, a hands‑on leader, and a passionate advocate for data‑driven, customer‑centric marketing.
Role Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
- Develop, implement and monitor International Health’s annual marketing strategy, budget and plan, aligned with business goals and stakeholder input.
- Define how success will be measured e.g., user acquisition, engagement rates, campaign ROI, brand awareness.
- Lead the evolution of International Health’s brand positioning and marketing collateral.
- Drive innovation in marketing tactics, including AI, automation, and personalization.
- Proactively provide management with updates on marketing activities, ROI and budget.
- Team & Campaign Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Oversee planning and execution of multi-channel campaigns, ensuring alignment with audience needs and business objectives.
- Coordinate with external agencies and internal teams to deliver campaigns on time and within budget.
- Emphasize international scope and cultural sensitivity in marketing approaches.
- Audience & Market Insights
- Champion the use of HCP insights and market research to inform strategy and optimize engagement.
- Ensure the team is trained and sensitized to audience needs and behaviours.
- Performance & Analytics
- Collaborate with the analytics team to evaluate campaign performance and generate actionable insights.
- Promote a data-driven culture where reporting and optimization are integral to campaign success.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Maintain strong relationships with leaders of our Pillars, Digital team, Project Management, broader Health Pillar and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Emphasize on collaboration between different teams to ensure integrated marketing efforts.
- Ensure marketing efforts support sales initiatives and reflect client and customer feedback.
- Innovation & Technology
- Stay abreast of emerging marketing trends, tools, and technologies.
- Encourage experimentation and adoption of best practices across the team.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
- Essential
- Bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrable experience in marketing leadership, ideally within healthcare, pharma, or medical communications.
- Proven track record in digital marketing, campaign management, and team leadership.
- Strong project management skills with experience managing budgets and timelines.
- Proficiency in marketing technologies (e.g., AI, CRM, automation platforms, SEO, social media).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into strategy.
