About the Role: Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Brand Marketing Manager will play a key role in shaping and growing the Springer Health+ and Adis brands across our global, local, and journal portfolios. You will deliver integrated B2B marketing programmes that strengthen our position as a trusted partner in healthcare communications and scientific engagement. You will work at the intersection of science, content, and marketing—translating complex ideas into compelling narratives that resonate with healthcare, pharmaceutical, and scientific audiences. This role is ideal for someone with a background in healthcare communications, scientific publishing, or medical education who combines strong marketing capability with scientific literacy and a collaborative mindset.

About You: You are a commercially minded and intellectually curious marketer with strong scientific literacy and a passion for translating complex ideas into impactful marketing. You are confident working with senior stakeholders, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and motivated by delivering measurable results.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Brand & Communications: Strengthen and evolve the Springer Health+ and Adis brands to increase recognition, consistency, and market differentiation across global markets. Act as a brand ambassador internally, driving alignment and consistency across teams. Ensure a consistent tone of voice, messaging, and visual identity across all communications. Support PR, external communications, conference activity, and industry engagement to raise brand visibility.
  • Thought Leadership & Content: Lead thought leadership initiatives that enhance brand credibility, influence industry conversations, and support commercial growth. Collaborate with scientific, editorial, and commercial stakeholders to develop high-quality, insight-led content. Create compelling marketing assets, including white papers, reports, webinars, articles, case studies, and executive communications. Translate complex scientific and healthcare topics into clear, engaging, audience-first content. Embed AI-assisted tools to support content ideation, research, and scalability, ensuring accuracy and editorial quality.
  • Strategic Marketing & Campaigns: Develop and execute integrated B2B marketing strategies that drive brand growth, engagement, and commercial impact. Plan and deliver multi-channel campaigns across digital, content, events, email, social, and partner channels. Develop targeted messaging and positioning for healthcare, pharmaceutical, and scientific audiences. Use data and insights to measure campaign performance and optimise effectiveness. Leverage AI-enabled marketing and analytics tools to improve audience targeting, efficiency, and impact.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Balance time and support between both external brands and between the SH+ global and local pillars. Work closely with commercial, editorial, scientific, and product teams to align marketing activity with strategic goals. Partner with sales and business development teams to support lead generation and client engagement. Manage external agencies, freelancers, and creative partners where required.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

  • Essential: Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in healthcare communications, scientific publishing, medical education, or a related field. Proven ability to deliver integrated B2B marketing campaigns. Strong content development and storytelling skills, particularly within scientific or healthcare contexts. Ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear, engaging marketing content. Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders, including scientific and commercial teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong project management and organisational skills. Data-driven mindset, with experience analysing campaign performance and applying insights. Interest in applying AI tools within marketing, content development, or research.
  • Desirable: Familiarity with CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and digital marketing platforms. Experience using AI-powered tools to enhance marketing workflows and performance. Understanding of SEO, social media strategy, and content marketing best practices.
