Strand Dental is seeking an enthusiastic Associate Dentist to join our friendly, experienced team in Worthing town centre. This is an excellent opportunity to inherit a well-maintained list of loyal Private and Denplan patients while enjoying clinical freedom in a modern environment.
An established and busy patient list is ready to inherit from day one, currently being maintained on25.5 clinical hours per week with excellent potential to increase sessions and continue grow the Private/Denplan list.
We are looking for a motivated, driven, and forward-thinking clinician who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care and building long-term patient relationships.

Located by the sea in Worthing, West Sussex, Strand Dental has been caring for patients in Worthing and the surrounding areas for many years, building an excellent reputation for high-quality private dentistry.
We provide high-quality private dental care for adults alongside Denplan and hold a small NHS contract for children's dentistry.

You'll be joining a close-knit team of experienced dentists, hygienists, qualified dental nurses, dedicated decontamination nurses, experienced receptionists and a supportive Practice Manager, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional patient care. Many of our team have been with the practice for years, creating a warm and welcoming environment for both patients and colleagues.
Position Details
- Working hours: Flexible hours available, with a minimum commitment of 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Remuneration: Sliding percentage split.
- Laboratory fees: 50%.
- Start date: January 2027.
- Current annual gross income: £250,000–£270,000 based on the current associate working an average of 3.5 days per week.
Applicant Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, including discussing treatment options, estimates and treatment plans with patients.
- Current GDC registration.
- Active NHS Performer Number.
- Minimum of one year's experience in GDS, PDS or following Dental Foundation Training (DFT).
- Experience in clear aligners and further education in restorative/cosmetic dentistry welcomed.
- Excellent patient care and interpersonal skills.
