We have a new opportunity to join Southampton Orthodontic Centre, SO15 2DG as a Private Orthodontist. Southampton Orthodontic Centre is a specialist practice with an NHS contract led by Dr Rupinder Sidhu supported by a highly skilled practice team which includes 4 Orthodontic Therapists, skilled Nurses and Reception. Due to patient demand we are now seeking an additional clinician to join the team and lead on our private offering.
We can offer 1 day per week likely to start as 1 day a month, building to bi-weekly then weekly as demand increases. We have surgery space on either a Tuesday or Saturday. The practice currently receives weekly enquiries for private orthodontics, we also have patients who don’t qualify for NHS. This role will be a mixture of existing enquiries, NHS non-qualifiers and also proactive marketing promotion. You will have the support of a highly proactive and supportive team; reception, Nurses, Practice Manager. Therapy support available if required. The practice has iTero scanner, OPG, USO and CEPH.
Located on the high street of Bedford place with many shops and cafes close by. The practice is just a 10 to 15 minute walk from Southampton Central station which has links to eg London and Portsmouth. The ideal opportunity for either a Specialist or highly experienced Ortho DWSI to join this fantastic team and lead on private services.
Requirements
- For this role we require a Specialist Orthodontist OR a DWSI with proven experience capable of working autonomously, skilled in both fixed and aligner treatments.
- Right to work in the UK is essential as sponsorship is not available.
