We have a new opportunity for an Implant Dentist / Implantologist to join our fantastic team at The Priestgate Clinic, Peterborough PE1 1WG. The Priestgate Clinic is a bespoke private dental clinic, situated in a fabulous grade II listed building in the historic centre of Peterborough. Originally founded by Dr Richard Cousley and Dr Catherine Cousley who both remain in practice. The team offer expert care in multiple dental specialties, provided by leading specialists, who regularly lecture & teach other specialists & trainees.

The practice has traditional values of professionalism and patient‑focused care combined with the application of 21st century state‑of‑the‑art technology including onsite 3D lab. We are now seeking a highly skilled implant clinician to join the team. We can offer 2 days per month to start with the scope to build and increase days over time, preferably working Wednesdays, with possible flexibility to be discussed.

The cases the practice receive are complex in nature, referred by GDPs — as such we are seeking a highly skilled implantologist who can take on complex referrals. We require skills and applied experience in bone grafts, sinus lifts and working with patients under sedation (sedation service already in place).

The practice has a fantastic relationship with referring GDPs and there is huge potential for this new clinician to market themselves to this audience, to truly benefit from this referral pipeline. The Priestgate clinic joined the PortmanDentex group in 2025 and continues to provide their MDT approach to patients who travel as far as 25/30 miles. The practice is just a short walk from both the cathedral and east coast mainline train station, equidistant from both Queensgate shopping centre and the Rivergate Shopping centre. A direct line from Kings Cross is available with a fast train option of 45 minutes each way.

  • Skilled and experienced enough within implants to manage complex cases referred by GDPs
  • Experienced in bone grafts, sinus lifts and working with patients under sedation
  • You will have a portfolio to share
  • Ideally available for bi‑weekly Wednesdays. Other days can be discussed.
