Ballyclare Dental Practice, 12 miles and an easy commute north of Belfast in Northern Ireland is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join the team on a fixed term basis.

Dental Hygienist required to join our fabulous team at Ballyclare Dental Practice.

Start Date: September 2025; however, this can be negotiated.

Contract: 4 months fixed term maternity cover.

Requirements:

  • GDC registration as a Dental Hygienist
  • Significant experience in practice working as a Dental Hygienist

Days and hours: 3x days per week with surgery space available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

Ballyclare Dental Practice is an established local dental practice with a 50-year reputation for delivering outstanding dentistry in the local, rapidly expanding community. A private practice since 2006, approximately 95% of our patients are fully private, with an even split of plan patients and fee per item patients.

Our surgeries are fully digitalised with an OPG machine and Itero intraoral scanner. We have a loyal and experienced support team and take pride in helping the clinicians focus on delivering the best possible outcomes.

We offer a wide range of private treatments including the restoration of implants, orthodontics including Invisalign, restorative and cosmetic treatment with a large emphasis on smile design and composite bonding.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and skilled dentist to take over a well-established patient base. We offer a supportive atmosphere and the chance to work in a practice that values clinical autonomy and professional development.
