MBR Dental are currently assisting a growing group of dental practices across Merseyside and Cheshire to recruit a Clinical Advisor & Associate Dentist to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced clinician to combine hands‑on dentistry with a strategic leadership role, supporting clinical excellence, clinician development, recruitment, compliance, and quality assurance across a network of 7 dental practices, with further acquisitions planned.
Position Details
- Permanent opportunity
- 4 days per week. Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Monthly pay
- 3-month notice period
- Hybrid role combining:
- 2 days per week as an Associate Dentist
- 1-2 days per week as a Clinical Advisor
- Self‑employed position
Associate Dentist Responsibilities
- Provide a mixture of NHS and Private Dentistry
- Dentist will be based in Liverpool practice.
- Deliver high‑quality clinical care and patient experiences
- Build long‑term relationships with patients
- Maintain accurate and compliant clinical records
- Participate in ongoing professional development
- UDA rate from £14.00
Clinical Advisor Responsibilities
- Clinical Governance & Compliance
- Monitor compliance with regulatory and clinical standards
- Conduct and review clinical audits including:
- Patient Record Audits
- Radiography Audits
- Clinical Governance Reviews
- Review DAF reports and implement corrective actions where required
- Recruitment & Retention
- Support the recruitment of high‑quality clinicians across the group
- Help create a positive and engaging clinical culture
- Conduct regular performance reviews and one‑to‑one meetings with Associate Dentists
- Support clinician onboarding and retention initiatives
- Training & Development
- Work alongside the Clinical Director to develop and implement training programmes
- Mentor and support clinicians in their professional development
- Promote best practice and continuous improvement across all practices
- Complaint Management
- Support the investigation and resolution of patient complaints
- Implement preventative measures and learning outcomes
- Ensure complaints are managed professionally and effectively
- Quality Assurance
- Work closely with the senior leadership team to drive clinical excellence
- Review clinical processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Support consistency and best practice across multiple locations

- Established network of 7 dental practices
- Currently progressing 3 acquisitions
- Planned growth of a further 5 acquisitions next year
