Associate Dentist position within an independent dental practice located in Exmouth, Devon. The practice offers a mixed NHS and private patient mix and serves a high proportion of private patients. Salary expected £100,000-£125,000+ with UDA earning of £17 per UDA, 5,000 UDA per year, and 50% commission on private patients.
Responsibilities and Opportunities
- Provide NHS and private dental care
- Full‑time associate dentist (part‑time acceptable)
- Work within a modern, recently refurbished practice equipped with SOE, digital X‑ray, rotary endo, digital apex locator, intraoral camera, intraoral scanner, DSLR camera
- Maintain established patient list and acquire new private patients
- Opportunity to specialise in endodontics, implants, restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics
- Consultation and treatment with full clinical freedom, supported by practice manager, nurses and reception team
- Flexibility to add evening or morning clinics for private patients
Qualifications
- GDC registered with an active performer number
- Experience providing NHS dental treatment
- Visa sponsorship available for dentists with NHS performer number
- Completion of foundation training or interest in specialty areas encouraged but not compulsory
