This is a well-established, independently owned dental practice in Edinburgh, with a strong reputation and history spanning over 60 years. The practice is now seeking a full-time Associate Dentist due to the principal stepping back from clinical duties. The successful candidate will take over an established NHS patient list of around 2000 patients, with good opportunity to build on private earnings.
The practice operates over two surgeries and benefits from recent refurbishment. It is fully digital, with equipment including digital x-rays, a brand-new Belmont chair, a Lumina intraoral scanner, rotary endodontics, apex locator, airflow polishing, and a modern IT-supported clinical system (SOE and Examine Pro). The working hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, with no weekend work required.
There is excellent clinical support from the principal and a dedicated and friendly team. The role is ideally suited to a dentist with some post-VT experience, though applications from more recently qualified clinicians with NHS experience will be considered. An active performer number and full GDC registration are essential.
Successful candidates will be fully registered with the GDC and have experience of providing dental treatment in the UK.
