About the Role
The Springer Nature General Counsel’s Office (GCO) is made up of seven teams which together form a trusted partner to the business. Comprising Anti-Piracy, Corporate Legal and Company Secretariat, Data Protection, Governance Risk and Compliance, Legal, and GCO Strategy & Operations, the GCO contributes to the sustainable success of Springer Nature by providing expert advice and supporting strategic ambitions whilst protecting our businesses and reputation.
The Knowledge & Learning Lead will be responsible for shaping and delivering the learning, development, and knowledge strategy for the General Counsel’s Office (GCO). Role responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and oversee the GCO training platforms, delivering learning programmes
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external providers to create content that enhances legal, commercial, and business skills.
- Work with HR colleagues on the GCO Talent and Development Hub, providing a platform for experimentation, knowledge-sharing, and innovation
- Lead the design and delivery of the Digital GCO, ensuring legal knowledge and resources are accessible, user-friendly, and aligned to business needs
- Develop and maintain frameworks for capturing, storing, and sharing legal and operational knowledge
- Govern the full knowledge lifecycle, ensuring content is accurate, current, and retired when obsolete.
- Promote a knowledge-sharing culture within the GCO, ensuring insights and best practice are easily available
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
