Role Overview: As a Senior Medical Writer, you will manage the delivery of high-quality scientific content, contribute to strategic publication plans, and interact with stakeholders at all levels within the organization and with clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Project delivery: Providing strategic direction, managing tactical delivery, reviewing scientific content, liaising with clients, and mentoring junior writers.
- Business planning and commercial activities: Applying therapeutic knowledge, participating in meetings, supporting business development, and maintaining awareness of therapeutic developments.
- Financial management: Monitoring project budgets, recording time accurately, and contributing to revenue targets.
- Organizational and teamwork: Developing junior staff, coaching, mentoring, and supporting team collaboration and performance reviews.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven medical writing skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to coach and mentor junior writers.
- Experience interacting with clients and medical experts.
- Proactive, flexible, and collaborative team player.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quick learner of new software.
- Life Science degree or equivalent.
