We are expanding our international recruitment team and are looking for an experienced Bookings & Recruitment Consultant to join us remotely.
Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced consultant who will manage bookings of nurses and healthcare assistants (HCAs) into UK healthcare organisations. This is a fast-paced role requiring knowledge of NHS agency staffing, strong communication skills, and the ability to work to tight deadlines , you must be proactive and have attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing daily bookings of agency nurses and carers into NHS Trusts and care homes via online booking portals.
- Proactively sourcing and recruiting nurses and carers from international and UK markets.
- Maintaining compliance with UK healthcare recruitment standards (ID checks, RTW checks, DBS, references, training records, etc.).
- Liaising with NHS Trusts, clients, and candidates to confirm bookings and resolve queries.
- Building relationships with healthcare professionals to ensure availability and loyalty.
- Updating booking systems, timesheets, and agency worker checklists.
Requirements
Previous experience working in a UK healthcare recruitment agency (bookings desk experience is essential).
Strong understanding of NHS staffing frameworks, portals, and agency worker compliance.
Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
Ability to work remotely and manage workload independently.
Based in India, Philippines, or Uganda with a reliable internet connection and flexibility to work UK hours.
