Responsibilities
- Assisting with the preparation and serving of hot and cold meals.
- Assisting the head cook to ensure that food is prepared in accordance with food hygiene regulations.
- Helping to keep the kitchen area and equipment clean to the standard for food hygiene.
- Under guidance of the head cook, maintaining accurate records of food supplies and freezer/fridge temperatures.
- Being aware of varied preferences and dietary requirements of individual residents.
