What qualities does it take to be a Care Assistant at Springcare? compassion, sensitivity and understanding a desire to help people people skills and excellent communication skills patience and the ability to keep calm and work well under pressure to be thorough and pay attention to detail to be able to carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device Not only do our care team provide nursing care to our residents, they also help to make our residents lives fulfilled, treat each resident with dignity & respect, and care for them all as if they were their own family.
About the role: Some of the daily tasks that a carer at Springcare would carry out would include: helping with washing and dressing Assisting with feeding and mealtimes finding out and knowing residents interests and needs. general housekeeping such as tidying residents\’ private bedrooms and communal areas supporting each resident’s physical and mental wellbeing through activities.
Our care team provide 24-hour care, where day care shifts are worked from 8am until 8pm, and night-time shifts are from 8pm until 8am.
