The role:
Every day is different in care, and as an Activities Coordinator your daily routines may be:
- Organising personalised activities for residents
- Contacting and working with third parties to arrange events such as choirs, dancing and shows, and any transport that is needed.
- Managing any activities that have been organised
- Accompanying residents on any outings
- Attending any meetings
- Updating any social media platforms, newsletters, and noticeboards, with photographs and information
- Completing any documents and updating records.
Our Activities Coordinators have a variety of working patterns of morning, afternoons, and evenings, depending on the needs of the homes, and working patterns are based on 7 days a week. Actual hours of work would be discussed during your interview.
Experience in a similar role would be beneficial, however, full training will be provided.
