Provide specialist careers information, advice and guidance to inform and guide young people, adults and key influencers about the industry and facilitate quality work experience opportunities. The Role:
- Supporting the National Head of Careers & Education and the Careers & Education Manager in coordinating and delivering activities aligned with the careers and education strategy.
- Liaising with schools, colleges and universities and building a good database of key contacts and monitoring the engagement and implementing key actions plans, coordinating or facilitating delivery or promotion of the latest resources.
- Working with the delivery team to support activity and roll out of programmes in line with the Careers and Education Strategy.
- Supporting with the planning and organising of a suite of activities and programmes such as Career showcase days, summer schools, career hubs, seminars and workshops.
- Coordination of the FutureChef competition, including facilitating Chef Ambassadors to ensure new business opportunities are not missed and productive relationships are developed and maintained.
- Managing communications through newsletters, updating website and careers portal information, and creating engaging blogposts.
- Supporting the department and wider delivery team with marketing and promotion of programmes, including designing leaflets, information packs and social media assets.
- Updating statistics and regular reporting on education performance against set targets.
- Contribute to the targets of getting people into work in the sector and work directly with employers, referral partners, education bodies, and beneficiaries.
This job is for you if you are:
- Have previous experience in Education & Careers programmes.
- Highly organised and excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to engage with external partners and internal departments.
- Have excellent verbal and written skills.
- Ability to work independently to tight deadlines whilst managing several projects.
- Experience creating marketing materials and digital assets using Canva; experience of Adobe Creative Cloud packages would be advantageous.
