Event Researcher – Mobile Gaming Industry

Salary: £28,000 + commission (OTE £35,000 in Year 1)

Location: Hybrid – 3 days in a central London office (near London Bridge), 2 days remote

Travel: Includes international travel to global events

An exciting opportunity has opened up to join a fast-growing B2B events team working at the heart of the mobile gaming sector. This role offers hands-on exposure to global industry stakeholders and the opportunity to shape the content of influential international conferences.

🌍 About the Role

As an Event Researcher, you’ll be responsible for researching key developments in mobile gaming, particularly in marketing and monetisation, and turning that insight into event content and programming. Working within a close-knit and collaborative team, you’ll help identify top speakers, shape agendas, and support the successful delivery of industry-leading events across Europe, Asia, and North America.

This role is ideal for someone with excellent qualitative research skills, strong communication, and an interest in digital business and gaming culture.

🔍 What You’ll Be Doing

Industry Research & Insight

  • Conduct research to identify trends, innovations, and commercial developments in mobile gaming
  • Analyse competitor events and find content gaps and new angles for discussion
  • Speak directly with industry stakeholders to understand challenges and opportunities

Content & Agenda Development

  • Create conference themes and agendas based on your findings
  • Identify and invite expert speakers and panellists
  • Write compelling session titles and descriptions
  • Prepare speaker briefing documents

Speaker & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Manage speaker logistics, including collecting bios and presentations
  • Build strong relationships with contributors and maintain ongoing communication
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations to ensure event success

Event Support & Coordination

  • Support event execution both pre-event and onsite (including international travel)
  • Chair or moderate sessions where required
  • Collect post-event feedback and help shape future programming

  • Interest in gaming, media, entertainment, or digital marketing is a plus
