For the last 30+ years Springboard has successfully designed and delivered programmes for young people to support their development. We are now looking for a Youth & Community Facilitator (full time) to work on our PEACEPLUS funded ACCEPT programme. The role will work with people aged 16+ years, facing disadvantage, and support them to engage positively with others from a different background and increase their transformational leadership and cultural competence skills.
Key criteria include
- Has or currently studying 3rd level qualification in Youthwork, Community Development or in a related field plus 3 years’ experience working with people in a development role OR Minimum Level 3 qualification plus 5 years’ experience working with people in a development role.
- Two years’ experience of facilitating non-formal learning and delivering accredited qualifications. Facilitation experience to include any two of the following areas: good relations / leadership / community cohesion/ community relations.
