As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a team of six operations professionals, ensuring the smooth running of international air and ocean freight movements while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support a team of 3 freight forwarding operations staff
- Oversee day-to-day Air Freight and Ocean Freight operations
- Ensure all shipments are handled efficiently, compliantly, and profitably
- Monitor service levels and maintain excellent customer relationships
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members
- Support process improvements and operational best practice
- Liaise with carriers, overseas agents, customers, and suppliers
About You
We are open to speaking with experienced Operations Managers as well as ambitious Freight Forwarding Supervisors who are ready to take the next step into management.
You’ll ideally have:
- Previous experience within Freight Forwarding operations
- Strong knowledge of Air Freight and Ocean Freight processes
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- Excellent communication and people management skills

- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- A positive attitude and desire to contribute to a successful team culture
