We are looking for an Export Road Freight Operator to manage end to end shipments for a wide range of customers. This role is working for a freight forwarder in Bradford. In this role, you’ll liaise with customers and overseas agents, plan loads and raise export documentation for shipments – UK to Europe. We are looking for someone who has working knowledge of export documentation and knowledge of road freight. The company is very well established and has over 1000 employees globally. Their Bradford office has a small, friendly team with excellent staff retention. Main duties to include: Liaising with customers and overseas agents Planning loads and liaising with hauliers Completing export documentation and ensuring a smooth transition from UK ports Customer service We are looking for: Experience of working in road freight Knowledge of export documentation for UK to Europe Good communication skills Ability to use own initiative and think on your feet Excellent attention to detail Salary circa £28-£35k, may be some room for negotiation for the right person Hours: 9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday, with 1 hour for lunch
